The names are similar; the apps are not. CalMirror mirrors events between Google calendars, on iPhone and iPad. Calendar Mirror mirrors between any calendars an Apple device can already see — iCloud, Exchange, CalDAV, subscribed feeds — on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
So the question is which calendars you actually have. If everything you own is a Google calendar, CalMirror is built for exactly that and has a free tier. If any part of your life is in iCloud, CalMirror cannot reach it, and no tier changes that.

cal-mirror open-source project. The resemblance is a coincidence of two people naming the same idea; neither is a version of the other.CalMirror moves events between Google calendars. It has no way to read an iCloud calendar, so anything that lives on the Apple side is invisible to it.
Calendar Mirror can hand it one. Add your Google account to your Mac or iPhone, mirror the iCloud calendar into a Google calendar — busy-only if you would rather not hand over the details — and CalMirror can then fan that copy out across your other Google calendars with its own rules and colours.
Bridging adds a hop: Calendar Mirror writes the copy on your device, and the other service then reads that copy on its own schedule. It needs the destination account set up on your Mac or iPhone, and the copy is one-way, like every Calendar Mirror mirror.
