Clockwise has shut down — what to use instead

Shut down on 27 March 2026. Here is what that means if you were relying on it.

Clockwise is no longer available. Its own site states the team joined Salesforce and that “Our product will no longer be available starting on March 27, 2026.” Prepaid subscriptions extending past that date were refunded on a prorated basis, and the announcement says user data was deleted rather than transferred to Salesforce.

Clockwise partnered with Reclaim to take on its users. If what you valued was the AI scheduling and focus-time defence, Reclaim is the successor they endorsed. If what you actually used was the personal-calendar sync — the part that put your personal commitments into your work calendar as busy blocks — that is a much smaller job, and it does not need a subscription.

Which to pick

Where Calendar Mirror is the better pick

  • Still here, and small enough that there is not much to shut down: it is an app on your device, not a service with a runway.
  • Open source under MIT. If it were ever abandoned, the source is public and the build takes one command — a copy you have built cannot be switched off remotely.
  • No account to lose access to, and no data held anywhere to be deleted.
  • Does the busy-block half of what Clockwise's calendar sync did, for $2.99 once.

Where Clockwise is the better pick

  • Everything Clockwise did beyond sync — focus time, meeting moving, team scheduling — is gone, and Calendar Mirror replaces none of it.
  • Clockwise worked on Google and Outlook from a browser. Calendar Mirror is Apple-only.
  • If you want that feature set back, Reclaim is the tool Clockwise itself recommended.
